Camp Tanuga is located in the heart of Northern Michigan's vacationland. Nestled in the forests of Kalkaska, 30 miles east of Traverse City, Tanuga rests on 220 acres of wooded trails, grassy fields and modern day play areas. The sandy shore of beautiful Lake Manistee, provides the backdrop for a combination of cedar log cabins and modern day traditional construction. Campers and Staff live together in updated cedar log cabins that have electricity and full bathroom facilities. Each cabin resident is assigned a bunk and ample space for his /her clothes and personal items.
